CasinoScout is an independent casino review site built specifically for Canadian players. We test every casino with real deposits and real withdrawals before publishing any review. No casino can pay to improve its ranking.

What we do

Finding a trustworthy online casino in Canada is harder than it should be. Most review sites rank casinos based on commission rates. We don't. Our rankings are based entirely on what we find when we test — withdrawal speeds, bonus terms, banking options, licence status, and how casinos actually treat players when something goes wrong.

Our review methodology

Every casino in our rankings goes through the same eight-point testing process. We do not publish a review until all eight steps are complete.

We verify the licence directly with the issuing authority — Kahnawake Gaming Commission, iGaming Ontario (AGCO) or Curaçao eGaming. We do not rely on the casino's own claims.
2. Deposit testing

We make real deposits via Interac e-Transfer and cryptocurrency from Canadian bank accounts. We verify funds credit correctly and at the stated speed.
3. Withdrawal timing

We time withdrawals from the moment of request to confirmed arrival in our account. We run multiple tests at different times of day and week to get accurate averages.
4. Bonus term analysis

We read the full bonus terms — not marketing copy. We calculate effective wagering requirements including game contribution rates, max bet rules and time limits.
5. Provincial availability

We verify Ontario licence status with iGaming Ontario directly. We test access from Ontario, BC and Alberta IPs. Casinos are clearly labelled for which provinces they serve.

We play across slots, live dealer and table games. We verify RTPs match published figures and check that demo modes work without registration.
7. Customer support test

We contact live chat at different hours with genuine questions. We measure response time and assess the quality and accuracy of answers provided.
8. Complaint monitoring

We monitor player complaints on Casinomeister, AskGamblers and relevant forums monthly. Casinos with patterns of unresolved complaints are removed from our rankings.

Editorial independence

CasinoScout earns revenue through affiliate commissions — when a player signs up at a casino via our links, we may receive a commission. This is standard practice in the casino review industry and is fully disclosed on our affiliate disclosure page.

Our editorial policy is strict: affiliate relationships never affect rankings. A casino that pays a higher commission cannot buy a better position. Our #1 pick is always the casino that performed best in our actual testing — not the one that pays us most. We have removed casinos from our rankings despite active affiliate relationships when their performance dropped.

We update rankings every 90 days. When casinos change their bonus terms, withdraw licences or accumulate complaint patterns, rankings are updated accordingly regardless of commercial relationships.

Corrections policy

We take factual accuracy seriously. If you believe any information on CasinoScout is incorrect, please contact us. We review all correction requests within 48 hours and publish corrections promptly when errors are confirmed. Casino bonus terms change frequently — we update affected pages when we are notified of changes.
